I like this unusual light in this lower corner of the painting. I thought very long and hard before I painted this fox who looks more like a wolf. I painted in oils and was amazed how easily the painting developed.
I do enjoy this photograph of the sculpture. I intend to remove the lower support ring and allow the piece to hang, changing the shape from a "lampshade" appearance.

I used this image in the Winter Arts Projection. I should have printed it up on a large canvas as I love the colour combinations and blending.

I used pencil and charcoal and photographed the two separate images.
Then I worked the images together in photoshop.
I printed the image on good quality water colour paper.
I then painted the water colour paper with ink and water.
I then turned the image upside down.
I photographed the image.
I then worked the image and cut it in photoshop, so I could work with all the images in Flash.
I made the three cut water colour images move in flash.
I then re-worked the images together in photoshop.
AND HERE IT IS.

I have enjoyed working with stop motion video. It is very time consuming however, the mind expands and I feel I can make anything move.

Thursday, October 22, 2009

I have used the images from one of our first projects many times, with in Photoshop and Flash. I enjoyed the small canvas with oil.
This image was worked in charcoal, photographed, printed onto water colour paper and worked with ink. Photographed and worked in Photoshop and re-printed.

Nature's perfect colour selection

Thursday, August 20, 2009

Inspiration for this image came from my photos taken at night (below).  The eerie light achieved was inspired by looking through the contorted willow branches at the moon.

This shot was taken with a 30 second shutter speed.
The camera saw more than I could see.
I took this image at 11pm on a night with a full moon
The sky was cloudy.  I like the mysterious effect.

I could not resist adding this image of "Snow girl."

This is an interior shot of a bulb.
I collected the bulb from the beach and dissected the bulb to find this interesting collection of  filaments.
This image I took with the Nikon using multipule
 shot technique.
I think this technique will be interesting to use when there is motion within the image.
Three images are taken and composed together by the camera.

I was so intrigued with the collograph image I had to rip into the card and collage it into another image. Using card, print. photocopies, silver wrap, doilies, oil paint and shellac I enjoyed watching the interaction with texture colour and reflection.
This image was a combination of photography incorporated with a slide image. I like the effect.
Thanks to "M" I was able to download this image of half and half, with a bit of Picasso. This is a play with two faces morphed together and worked in Photoshop.

This image is great as I used the stop motion switch

Venetian Glass
